German Guided Tours Project at Ege University Ethnography Museum

Project Summary:
As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Department of German Language and Literature at E.Ü. Faculty of Literature and the Department of German Studies at Paderborn University, a conference event will be held on November 7-9, 2022, during which the E.Ü. Ethnography Museum will be visited. The museum collection will be presented in German to foreign visitors, thus facilitating cultural exchange regarding Anatolian and Balkan culture, regional clothing, and musical instruments. German Language and Literature Department undergraduate students who will participate in and implement the project will receive training at the museum within this scope. Subsequently, they will acquire the ability to introduce the E.Ü. Ethnography Museum collection both verbally and in writing. A brochure and audio guide service introducing the E.Ü. Ethnography Museum in German will be prepared within the scope of the project.
Project Outcomes:
As a result of the project, it is expected that the undergraduate students of the German Language and Literature Department who will carry out the project and foreign visitors to the E.Ü. Ethnography Museum will gain knowledge about the Ethnography Museum and learn about Anatolian and Balkan culture. In addition, a German-language promotional brochure and audio guide application will be prepared.
