Virtual international programme
As part of the online education process after the pandemic, our Erasmus partner Giessen has started an international online study programme. Since the spring semester 2021, our department has also been included in the programme and our students have received the necessary advice and information sessions to benefit from the programme. Within this framework, our students, who have had the opportunity to take in- and out-of-field courses from various departments at the University of Giessen since the spring semester 2021, continue to benefit from the ongoing programme. At the end of the semester, our students also receive an official certificate from the University of Giessen. As our students are registered as students in the University of Giessen system, they are entitled to use the facilities of the online library in the same way as students of the University of Giessen.

We have very good news for you! Would you like to take part in online courses at Justus Liebig University Gießen from your home? Our Erasmus partner Justus Liebig University Gießen is continuing its "The Virtual International Programme (VIP-JLU)" in the spring semester 23/24. As part of the programme, you can attend classes at JLU-Gießen free of charge and online, and even receive an official transcript at the end of the semester! (The transcript you receive will not be recorded on your transcript at Ege University). In addition to courses in literature, language, culture and translation, the programme also includes language courses where you can improve your German.
